Job summary

Nawawi Tie Leung Property Consultants Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kuala Lumpur to support electrical system maintenance and ensure reliability of LV power and generating equipment.

You will initiate work requests, perform planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshoot controls, and prep spare parts while following safety procedures. Strong teamwork and ability to work with minimal supervision are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical diploma or certificate in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Must possess A4 Chargeman certificate.
• 1–2 years working experience in a related role.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships.
• Fair English and Bahasa Malaysia oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and close work requests to meet maintenance requirements.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on LV electrical systems and generating equipment as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot and re-programme electrical controls on LV equipment to meet operations.
• Prepare electrical spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance needs.
• Carry out emergency duties as defined by the company plan and procedures.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by Building Manager.

Job description

· Initiate and close work request to meet maintenance requirement.

· Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance work on LV electrical systems/associated equipment and all generating systems as per turnaround schedule, maintenance and operation requirements.

· Troubleshoot, analyse report, test and re-programme of all electrical controls on LV and ancillary equipment to meet operations requirement.

· Prepare all electrical spare/replacement parts to ensure the availability of meeting electrical maintenance requirements.

· PerforminanemergencyroleasdefinedbytheCompanyEmergencyResponsePlan/Procedure Manual.

· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Building Manager.

Requirements:

· Minimum Cert/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical and possess A4 Chargeman Certificate.

· 1-2 years working experience

· Possess good interpersonal skill and able to maintain effective working relationship.

· Fair oral and written communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

· Computer literate.

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision, reliable and possess self-initiative.
