Job summary

Baxter Healthcare Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead the Costing & Inventory team to support month-end close activities and ensure accurate cost reporting across APAC regions.

You will review and approve inventory account reconciliations and journals, drive continuous process improvements, and partner with finance and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and reporting.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified).
Experience in multinational environments and/or audit; strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

Manage the Costing & Inventory team to support month-end close activities.
Review and approve inventory account reconciliations and journals in Blackline.
Drive process improvements across the team with a focus on continuous improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance teams and external providers to update processes and reporting.
Ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and local regulations; strengthen financial controls.
Build and manage high-performing teams with focus on engagement and development.
Support local, regional, and global projects with financial expertise.
