Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project & Product Costing Analyst in Malaysia to prepare costing estimates, analyze cost impacts, and support pricing decisions. The role collaborates with Finance, Purchasing, Production and Sales to gather data and improve profitability.

The ideal candidate has ACCA or accounting degree and at least 4 years of related experience, with UBS Accounting knowledge being advantageous. Proficiency in Excel and Word is expected.

Qualifications

• ACCA or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in costing/accounting field.
• Proficient in UBS Accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and financial analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare product cost estimations, pricing proposals, quotations, and profitability analyses to support competitive pricing decisions.
• Analyze cost impacts from product changes, raw material fluctuations, manufacturing processes, MOQ requirements, scrap, and obsolete inventory, and update costing structures accordingly.
• Conduct costing reviews, pricing evaluations, customer cost-down exercises, and support pricing negotiations through cost and market analysis.
• Review BOMs, maintain costing records, update product price lists, and support regulatory costing submissions and documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Production, and Sales teams to gather cost data, perform financial assessments, and support business decisions.
• Monitor market trends, manufacturing costs, and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
• Perform standard cost reviews, cost revaluations, break-even analyses, and manufacturing cost comparisons to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare monthly costing and profitability reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.

• Well verse in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc).
