Job summary

Scicom MSC Berhad seeks a network operations professional to provide L1 support for voice and mobile services around the clock. You will investigate fraud events, liaise with suppliers, and ensure rapid fault resolution while maintaining SLA commitments.

Strong diagnostic skills and English proficiency are essential. The role requires experience in telecom networks, knowledge of GSM signalling, and capability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecom or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in Telecom Industry.
• Experience with mobile or fixed networks operation as an engineer.
• Knowledge of GSM NW structure, Signalling, MTP, ISUP/SIP, SCCP, TCAP stacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 network support activities for voice and mobile services 24x7.
• Ensure reactive repair activities with customers, suppliers and third parties worldwide.
• Monitor and investigate fraud events to identify root cause and resolutions.
• Define and implement improvements in Fraud prevention services for customers.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to guarantee complaint resolution with SLA.
• Liaise with commercial to meet customer requests.
