Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Operations professional to manage multiplatform systems including Mainframe, AS400, Unix and Windows. The role will monitor real-time system activity and batch jobs, and promptly escalate issues to the support team as they arise.

The ideal candidate has a Degree/Diploma in IT with 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently in a 24x7 rotation including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in IT.
• 3-5 years of working experience in related industry.
• Experience with Control-M Job processing (v8/9).
• Hands-on experience in AS400, mainframe, Open systems (Unix & Windows).
• Experience with Remedy tool (Change and Incident).
• Experience with alert monitoring & escalation via Geneos, Splunk; familiarity with other monitoring tools is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a 24x7 rota, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiplatform systems across Mainframe, AS400, Unix and Wintel.
• Perform real time monitoring of systems, ATM and network equipment and manage exceptions.
• Escalate promptly to the support team to ensure alerts are addressed.
• Support recovery of IT incidents (software/hardware/apps).
• Monitor batch workload processing and ensure seamless execution of scheduled batch jobs.
• Submit batch jobs, perform backup/recovery/restart as needed.
