Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group in Malaysia is seeking a Cloud Operations & Support Engineer to be the frontline on tickets and platform health across regions. You will triage, resolve issues, and escalate with full context, while maintaining runbooks and knowledge bases.

The role requires solid Linux, networking, and cloud basics, plus strong written English and calm composure during incidents. Shift rotation across regions is expected.

Qualifications

• Solid Linux, networking, and cloud basics.
• Strong written English and customer communication.
• Disciplined to follow runbooks and incident playbooks.
• Willing to work follow-the-sun shifts across regions.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer support tickets and requests: intake, triage, troubleshooting, resolution, and clear status communication within SLA targets.
• Monitor platform health and respond to alerts (NOC): acknowledge, assess severity, initiate incident handling, and post customer-facing updates.
• Troubleshoot issues across GPU instances, VM/bare metal, networking, drivers/CUDA, storage, and billing using runbooks.
• Escalate cleanly along the chain with full context; never leave a ticket unowned.
• Maintain and improve runbooks, knowledge base, and canned responses.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun 7×24 shift rotation across regions.
• Track and report ticket/alert metrics (response time, resolution time, MTTA).
