Job summary

Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor seeks an Electrical Power Engineering professional with 11kV chargeman certification to lead maintenance on HV/LV systems, solar energy setup, and related electrical facilities. You will coordinate with utilities and contractors to ensure compliance and safe operation.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring of the solar system, and reporting daily power generation.

Qualifications

Electrical Power Engineering Professional Certificate.
Chargeman BO 11kv.
Technical skills in High Voltage Chargeman.
Computer knowledge – Microsoft Office.
Good interpersonal skill and an analytical mind.
Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine inspections, repair, corrective and preventive maintenance on switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, switch gears and cleanliness of MSB and genset rooms.
Liaise with utility providers and regulatory bodies such as TNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga on utility service and compliance issues.
Responsible as 11kv high tension chargeman; plan, coordinate, implement and monitor preventive, predictive, condition monitoring and breakdown maintenance of electrical supply and distribution.
Ensure safety and proper operation of high-tension power supply.
Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machineries and equipment.
Liaise with solar system manufacturers to review maintenance guidelines and compliance issues.
Monitor and report daily solar power generation and usage, provide reports to supervisor.
Plan, prepare, coordinate, implement and monitor maintenance checklists for the factory solar energy system.
Carry out inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance for solar energy systems including batteries, panels, wiring, inverters, control panels, PV roof platform.
Liaise, supervise and monitor external contractors to ensure compliance with Electrical Supply Act and regulations.
