Job summary

BONDIT E & C SDN. BHD. is seeking an HV Electrical Supervisor to oversee the operation, inspection and maintenance of 33kV switchgear, transformers and substations in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.

You will conduct routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance and coordinate corrective actions for HV equipment. Requirements include a valid Chargeman Certificate (3kV) and 2–5 years of HV experience. Coordinate with contractors, ensure safety compliance, LOTO and permit-to-work procedures,

Qualifications

• Requires valid Chargeman Certificate of Competency (Energy Commission - Suruhanjaya Tenaga) at B4 level for 3kV systems.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in HV electrical environments.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with ST requirements, company procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintenance personnel during servicing, testing and shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation, inspection and maintenance of high-voltage installations (33kV switchgear, transformers, substations).
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and coordinate corrective maintenance for HV equipment.
• Monitor conditions and identify abnormalities, faults or hazards.
• Carry out switching operations following approved procedures and authorization.
• Ensure LOTO, isolation and permit-to-work procedures are followed.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate troubleshooting, repair and restoration.
• Inspect protective relays, cables and HV components during maintenance.
