Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea. This role provides individual pupil support to access learning, build confidence, and help them reach their full potential within the classroom.

The position offers a full-time schedule during term time, with additional CPD and safeguarding training opportunities, plus access to a dedicated consultant for support throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting is desirable
• A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience supporting children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea on a full-time basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
