Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical experience supporting children or young people.
• Clear and effective communication with students, teachers and parents.
• Ability to work well in a team with teachers, support staff and parents.
• Friendly, empathetic and adaptable to best support the student.
• Understanding of how technology can personalise learning, differentiate instruction and assess progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to the student in and out of the classroom and help with curriculum tasks.
• Collaborate with teachers and Learning Support staff to implement strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions as required.
• Assist in transitions between lessons, trips and activities with safeguarding priorities in mind.
