Job summary

Allient Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Quality Specialist Engineer to partner with production and engineering to audit and optimize manufacturing processes and products.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives using problem‑solving, testing, and inspection techniques, aligning with ISO and related standards. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3–5 years in Quality Engineering, with experience in APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA and Lean.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Experience with APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA.
• Experience in Control Plans and FAI processes.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma a plus.
• ISO 9001/AS9100 and ISO14001 knowledge.
• MS Office suite proficiency; travel via Border Crossing Card visa.

Responsibilities

• Audits and analyzes manufacturing processes and products for improvement.
• Develops and maintains quality requirements and standards.
• Implements methods for process control, testing and inspection.
• Provides corrective and preventive quality actions to reduce scrap and external failures.
• Develops quality reporting measures and analyzes COQ/COPQ.
• Participates in internal and external quality audits and supports certifications.
