About the Role
We are currently in search of a talented and motivatedXano Developerat the Middle-Senior level to join our team. The successful candidate will be managing complex backend development challenges using Xano's no-code/low-code capabilities. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions that feature intricate workflows, custom APIs, and reliable external integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex backend systems using Xano
• Create and manage custom APIs, data relationships, and logic workflows
• Integrate third-party services and REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with frontend teams (e.g., Flutter/React) for seamless integration
• Maintain version control, documentation, and staging environments
• Ensure system performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues quickly
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap

• Minimum of 2 years of backend development experience, specifically with Xano.
• Proven expertise in leveraging complex Xano applications, including conditional logic, webhooks, and API chaining.
• Proficient in data modeling and relational database design.
• In-depth understanding of authentication/authorization protocols, such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience in integrating external APIs and parsing data (JSON, XML).
• Strong grasp of REST API principles and experience with debugging tools (e.g., Postman).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using project management tools like Jira or Trello.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in no-code/low-code ecosystems and integrations (e.g., Webflow, Make/Integromat, Zapier)
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and deployment workflows
• Previous experience with HIPAA, GDPR, or enterprise-grade compliance
• Knowledge of scalable architecture for high-traffic systems
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control
