About The Opportunity

• Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Spanish (Mexico) to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This freelance opportunity is remote, with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever best suits you.

You may contribute your expertise by…

• Reading Spanish (Mexico) text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
• Writing short stories in Spanish (Mexico) about given topics.
• Assessing whether Spanish (Mexico) texts generated by an AI are factually accurate.

Examples of desirable expertise:

• Experience as a professional translator.
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in humanities or related fields.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment

• Current pay rates for core project work by Spanish (Mexico) writing experts average USD $7.50 per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime, may have different rates. Some projects offer incentive payments. Please review payment terms for each project.
