A leading non-profit organization is looking for an Intermediate Analyst to evaluate finance operations and enhance service quality. The role involves independent project management and a strong emphasis on data analysis and problem-solving, requiring over five years of experience. This is a remote position with an educational preference for a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
This is a remote contractor position (12 months) on the Finance team, available to candidates in Latin America & Caribbean regions, including:
Haiti, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.

This intermediate analyst evaluates current or proposed Finance operations, develops, tracks, documents, recommends, and/or analyzes processes, operations, or systems. They assess organizational models and their integration with technology, leveraging experience to discover and develop data, monitor analytics, contribute to communications and quality trends, support problem-solving, and educate leadership on opportunities for improvement. The analyst leads or participates in project teams to pilot innovations, provide systematic reviews, resolve system support issues, and promote sustainability of ministry initiatives. Typically, they work independently on moderately complex cases or as part of larger project teams.
Advocates for children's needs, understands Christ’s mandate to protect children, and prioritizes child protection in all decisions and activities. Reports concerns of abuse or neglect through internal channels and supports responses to incidents if they occur.
Assesses the Finance organization, processes, and initiatives by organizing business needs, reviewing policies, standardizing workflows, interpreting business rules, and improving service quality.
Reviews business cases, sorts stakeholder requirements, studies organizational issues, simplifies requirements, manages communications, and documents processes.
Uses experience and training to discover data, monitor analytics, contribute to communications and quality trends, and develop educational materials on areas for improvement.
Gathers ministry-related data, analyzes it to identify efficiencies, problem areas, and improvements.
Formulates analysis plans, designs questionnaires and tests, mines data from internal and external sources, and provides actionable recommendations. Ensures data validity and consistency.
Identifies and analyzes simple ministry process problems, defines scope, and streamlines processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Provides ongoing customer support by resolving ServiceNow tickets.
Plans and coordinates projects from initiation to completion, developing responsibilities, timetables, progress reports, troubleshooting, and managing team members and resources.
Offers technical expertise to support resolution of support requests, including configuring and implementing solutions for ministry needs.
