Join as a Ruby Senior Engineering Manager to drive technical excellence and strategic direction in developing cutting-edge Ruby applications. With your extensive experience and deep understanding of Ruby and web development practices, youll lead complex projects, mentor a diverse team of developers, and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the technical strategy and direction for Ruby development projects, ensuring alignment with the organizations goals and long-term vision.
• Lead and manage a team of Ruby developers, setting clear objectives, fostering professional growth, and promoting collaboration.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Ruby applications, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, focusing on Ruby and associated technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ruby development, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication between the Ruby development team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and project success.
• Address and resolve complex technical challenges, making critical architectural and design decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Ruby.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient project delivery and team collaboration.
• In-depth knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Strong experience in application security best practices.
• Proven track record in developing and integrating large-scale applications.
• Expertise in both back-end and front-end development areas.
• Skilled in conducting code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Expert understanding of clients requirements, assessing potential benefits and weaknesses.
• Advanced knowledge of the trade-offs involved in choosing specific technologies or solutions.
• Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, time estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning.
• Advanced level of English.
