Proofreading Specialist at BairesDev

We are looking for a Proofreading Specialist to join our team. The proofreading team is responsible for translating, formatting, and editing resumes according to the company's requirements. This professional will gather all available and necessary information to create a version of a candidate's resume that follows internal formatting rules and provides sufficient detail about the experience and skills of interest to specific clients.

What You'll Do:

1. Gather and verify information from various sources (CVs, LinkedIn, candidates, etc.)
2. Translate CVs, primarily from Spanish to English
3. Follow and apply internal formatting rules
4. Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and word usage errors
5. Confirm the accuracy of information provided by the recruiting team
6. Provide detailed instructions on how to complete the resume according to the job posting and information obtained
7. Follow up with candidates and other departments to ensure formatting is completed correctly and on time

What We Are Looking For:

1. 6+ months of experience in related positions (translation, editing, technical writing, or proofreading)
2. Attention to detail and ability to research and understand unfamiliar concepts quickly
3. Proficiency in Word and Excel
4. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
5. Proficiency in written and spoken English
