Garrett Advancing Motion in Mexicali, Mexico, seeks a Commodity Buyer - Wheels to drive supplier scouting, panel development, and supplier integration for next-generation wheels. The role involves coordinating supplier assessments, developing the supplier panel, and supporting new product launches with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 5-8 years’ experience in similar role.
• Good Negotiation Skills.
• Project Management.
• Good proficiency in English language.

Responsabilidades

• Supplier scouting & adding in the panel for new technology for new growth vertical.
• Build Supplier Panel for the Worldwide / Regions operational requirements.
• Lead new supplier integration process in the Panel: perform supplier prospection, supplier assessments (CSA), supplier development as per sub commodity strategy.
• Meet Annual Operating Plan’s objectives on sub commodity.
• Build and consolidate productivity action plans for sub commodity.
• Support new product launches in coordinating with New Product Introduction team.
• Generate and consolidate ideas for global projects, collect ideas from suppliers.
