Formación

Descripción del empleo

Accountable for overall performance and quality of the operations within the warehouse, receiving, shipping, production control, and inventory control, including proactively mitigating risks to the operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop, recommend, and effectively execute advanced logistics and warehousing strategies in support of new and existing business objectives.
  2. Appraise service levels across assigned facilities, suppliers, and stores; and provide guidance to address gaps identified in product supply performance.
  3. Ensure the overall accuracy of the database at the assigned facility.
  4. Drive team-based sourcing recommendations that add value to operations.
  5. Collaborate with corporate, group, and cross-functional personnel, both domestic and global, to align strategic objectives.
  6. Advise management on business and market intelligence data, including opportunities and solutions related to transportation, warehousing, and supply chain trends.
  7. Communicate team progress and value to top management effectively.
  8. Monitor and manage transportation supplier performance, inventory metrics, on-time delivery, dock-to-stock, and the cash-to-cash cycle.
  9. Prepare annual department budgets and establish controls to meet objectives.
  10. Lead and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to EHS, including CTPAT, OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF16949.
Minimum Requirements
  1. 3-5 years of experience monitoring and controlling inventory levels closely.
  2. Expertise in cycle counts.
  3. Experience developing and implementing inventory management systems and strategies.
  4. Bilingual proficiency.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  6. Experience in supplier and production planning.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
  8. Experience using financial and data-driven decision-making techniques; proven negotiation skills with freight and logistics providers.
  9. Knowledge of and participation in LEAN activities, including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
