This role is pivotal in and leading our Receiving Department, line-side material delivery, and inventory. You'll be at the forefront of optimizing logistics processes, ensuring seamless flow of information and products, and achieving targets for customer service, operational costs, and inventory levels. How You'll Make an Impact
Implement and lead logistics improvement projects to streamline supply chain flow.
Manage integration of material receiving, warehousing, delivery, and inventory.
Optimize material receiving, warehousing, line-side delivery, and factory inventory operations.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Select and manage local logistics service providers for efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor, report, and optimize total logistics costs within your area of responsibility.
Represent logistics in key business decisions and product development.
Deliver on budget and performance targets within the framework.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience.
Experience in shipping and receiving.
Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
Working knowledge of SAP MM.
Proficient in MS Office.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
A problem-solver.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
