Job summary

Siemens AG in Mexico seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the SCM-Procurement / Supply Chain Logistics team, ensuring 95% inventory accuracy and smooth flow of materials to production lines.

You will coordinate with freight companies, analyze system transactions, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to ISO 9000 procedures while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system transactions to identify causes and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee Kanban program.

• Maintain cleanliness and order of storage and shipping areas.
• Oversee receipting, staging, and transfers to ensure 95% inventory accuracy.
• Ensure ISO 9000 procedures are followed.
• Verify area functions and ensure production is well serviced.
• Check excess inventories and align with production schedules.
• Provide training to employees and enforce company policies.
• Maintain consignment system accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Comply with safety standards (0 accidents).
• Supervise work activities of staff.
• Maintain reconciliation with suppliers for consignment system.
• Maintain 75% accuracy in WIP inventories.
• Coordinate flow of raw material and finished product.
• Audit and coordinate cyclic raw material counts at locations.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for resolving discrepancies with shipments to central warehouses.

• Maintain continuous reviews that allow the maintenance of cleanliness and order of all storage and shipping areas.
• Oversee all receipting, staging, and material transfers to ensure 95% minimum inventory accuracy.
• Ensure ISO 9000 procedures are carried out and complied with (as applicable).
• Oversee the proper functioning of the area, verify that the production department is well serviced and that transactions are made correctly in the system.
• Check excess inventories for quantities required and try to eliminate them according to production schedules.
• Provide employees with training in accordance with their positions and enforce company policies.
• Responsible for accurately maintaining the consignment system and resolving any consignment system discrepancies.
• Comply with safety standards and techniques (0 accidents in the area).
• Supervise the work activities of his staff under his charge.

• Maintain a minimum of 75% accuracy in wip inventories.
