Job summary

BD Nogales is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to support warehouse operations at the Nogales South plant (Parque Industrial El Cid). The role focuses on material receiving, storage, and timely delivery of raw materials, with emphasis on accuracy, 5S, and intercompany coordination.

Ideal candidates have high school level education with a bachelor’s degree desirable, and experience in inventory control or warehouse; 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• High school level preferred; bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Inventory control experience or warehouse background preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong goal attainment and results orientation.
• People management, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign resources according to service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procedures applicable to the position and subordinates.
• Report and follow up on receiving issues.
• Elaborate daily inventory reports of trailers.
• Coordinate trailer movements with raw material.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, and timely delivery of raw material samples.
• Coordinate material delivery between companies (Intercompany).
• Solve discrepancies in material containers and labeling.
• Provide support to Accounting in Payable Accounts due to invoicing discrepancies.
• Maintain 5S in the area.
• Propose and follow up on opportunities to improve the area.
• Oversee Kanban receipts and delivery.
• Coordinate RTV shipment preparation and MDN disposition.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies from cycle counts.
• Attend urgent receiving/delivery of material.
• Communicate with customers to improve quality service.
• Respond to customer complaints per Incidence Reports.
• Ensure training of personnel is updated.
• Attend maintenance of Document Retention Area.
• Report breakdowns of material handling equipment.
• Oversee Recycling area operations and resource assignment.
• Coordinate information delivery to Traffic for material outlet.
