Job Description

1. Responsible for the direct supervision and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be accountable for all inbound receiving, order picking, and delivery, as well as individual and corporate performance expectations.
2. Ensure proper procedures are followed in all warehouse activities. Assist in the development and revision of procedures to meet changing customer and corporate expectations.
3. Work with the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure associates have the resources in place to deliver against required service levels efficiently and effectively.
4. Drive innovation and critical thinking in strategic and tactical work.
5. Explore and participate in performance improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
6. Ensure all health and safety regulatory, training, and compliance activities are completed and followed.
7. Develop direct reports through day-to-day coaching, training, and work assignments to create a team capable of performing cross-functional activities.
8. Meet team targets by managing resources and maintaining a proactive approach.

Qualifications

Education: Logistics Engineer, International Business, or related field with Logistics specialization.

Experience: 5+ years of warehousing, distribution center, and/or logistics experience in a team capacity.

Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to assess and improve distribution center and logistics processes.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in the use of SAP, particularly Warehouse Management and Material Management modules.
• Advanced English level.
