Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support large-scale warehouse and distribution automation projects. You will commission, test, and validate material handling systems, verify MDR conveyor controls, and ensure proper safety and network configurations on customer sites.

The role requires hands-on startup activities, I/O validation, E-Stop testing, and strong troubleshooting skills, with 100% travel to project locations.

Formación

• Experience with Amazon commissioning projects is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with 24VDC MDR conveyor controls.
• Experience with Dematic ECC MDR or Intelligrated MDR systems.
• Experience with I/O checkout, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of E-Stop and machine safety validation.
• Experience with Safety I/O configuration.
• Experience with Ethernet/IP network configuration.
• Familiarity with CANBus communication.
• Experience with conveyor commissioning and startup.
• Ability to read and understand electrical/control system documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 and LOTO certification preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel 100% to project sites.

Responsabilidades

• Perform commissioning, startup, testing, and validation of automated material handling systems.
• Perform I/O checkout and validation for conveyor and automation equipment.
• Conduct E-Stop testing and safety validation.
• Verify MDR conveyor controls and system functionality.
• Configure and troubleshoot Safety I/O.
• Configure and troubleshoot Ethernet/IP networks.
• Work with CANBus communication and related control systems.
• Perform conveyor testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities.
• Complete commissioning documentation, testing reports, and system verification.
• Coordinate with engineering, controls, and site teams to resolve commissioning issues.
• Support project activities at customer warehouse and distribution center locations.
