Dematic is seeking a dedicated Mechatronic Commissioning Senior Engineer to join our team and provide on-site solutions at client sites. You will work closely with customers and other engineers to resolve issues and ensure systems come online efficiently.

The role requires willingness to travel up to 90% to the USA, and involves performing tests, documenting activities, and contributing to safety and project execution. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Rockwell or Siemens PLCs is essential.

Formación

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
• 6-8 years of successful experience in related field.
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of the field through moderately complex assignments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledgeable on AC drives, open & closed loop.
• Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.

As a Mechatronic Commissioning Sr Engineer you will have multiple responsibilities, including administrative tasks, monitoring project execution with guidelines, and on‑site customer support.

Tasks and Qualifications

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
• 6-8 years of successful experience in related field.
• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of the field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
• Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.

• Share knowledge and best practices with engineering peers.
• Maintain the administrative responsibilities along with site responsibilities in order.
• Attend daily planning/safety meetings.
• Compile information into detailed technical reports.
• Report and follow up on any issues to the manager/lead.
• Report & track safety issues during field operations.
