Johnson Controls is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in our facility in Mexico to support receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing materials. You will maintain accurate stock records and keep the warehouse organized, working closely with the supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure timely materials flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on warehouse work, can lift up to 25 kg, and holds a forklift license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities with the supervisor.
• Receive shipments and verify materials against documentation.
• Support picking, packing, and distribution of goods.
• Record incoming/outgoing goods and maintain stock records.
• Keep the area clean and organized through daily housekeeping.
• Perform periodic stock cycle counts and update levels.
• Prepare and maintain filing and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with buyers, customer service, and forwarders via email.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important part in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing materials while keeping stock records accurate and the warehouse organized. This is a hands-on role with both physical and administrative responsibilities.

What will you do?

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities with the warehouse supervisor.
• Receive shipments, process goods receipt, and verify materials against documentation.
• Support picking, packing, and the distribution of goods and materials.
• Record incoming and outgoing goods accurately and maintain warehouse documentation.
• Carry out daily housekeeping and basic warehouse maintenance to keep the area clean and orderly.
• Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and update stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain systematic filing, records, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate by email with buyers, customer service, and forwarders when needed.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
