AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager in Reynosa, Mexico to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control and end-to-end logistics. The role drives efficiency, compliance, and cost effectiveness across domestic and international shipments.

Responsibilities include KPI development, process improvements, and leadership of the warehouse team. The candidate will ensure safety standards and accurate documentation while leveraging AI tools to optimize decisions and productivity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in warehouse and logistics management.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and logistics processes.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments and carrier contracts.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse and logistics performance.

Job Description: The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics functions to ensure efficient storage, inventory control, and timely distribution of goods. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes processes, and supports business objectives through effective supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and loss.
• Logistics Management
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers and manage transportation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and export/import documentation.
• Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse and logistics performance.
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and train warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous Improvement.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, export declarations).
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and inventory management tools.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost effectiveness.
• The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs compliance.
