About the Role

Our client, a leading e-commerce platform with a significant presence across Latin America, is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Vice President of Global Operations. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operational strategy, ensuring seamless execution across diverse geographic regions, and driving efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale global operations, a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain, and customer service in an e-commerce context, and exceptional leadership skills. This is a remote-first position, offering the opportunity to lead from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global operational strategy to support the company's growth objectives.
• Oversee all daily operations, including logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and customer support across all markets.
• Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the scalability of operations to meet increasing demand.
• Build and lead high-performing global operations teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Implement and manage robust key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
• Manage relationships with key third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other strategic partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, and technology teams to align operational strategies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing global operations.
• Proven experience in the e-commerce industry, with a deep understanding of online retail operations.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability in a high-growth environment.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and change management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing complex international logistics and supply chains.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Spanish and English required; Portuguese a strong plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote work environment.
