Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a native Mexican Spanish voice actor for remote freelance work. You will submit two short audition recordings and participate in two ~4-hour supervised sessions, recording scripted and spontaneous material with warmth and consistency.

Applicants should have a quiet home recording space, a USB condenser mic with interface, closed-back headphones, and the ability to self-direct auditions. All recordings must be in Mexican Spanish.

What You'll Do

• Follow live direction from a Session Director during supervised sessions

• Deliver all recordings entirely in Mexican Spanish, without switching to other languages or dialects

Requirements

• Native or native-equivalent fluency in Spanish (Mexico)
• Experience as a voice actor, actor, theater performer, or comparable performance background
• Access to a quiet recording space free of echo and background noise
• Professional-grade microphone for auditions, with qualifying USB condenser or XLR microphone and audio interface for paid sessions if selected
• Closed-back monitoring headphones for supervised recording sessions
• Ability to self-direct auditions and follow live direction
• Basic audio recording skills, including microphone positioning and identifying noise, clipping, and distortion

Preferred (Not Required)

• Professional voice-over experience in dubbing, ADR, audiobooks, or conversational podcasting
• An existing acoustically treated home recording studio

Location: Remote (Mexico)

Pay: $40/hour
