Qualifinds in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico is seeking a Visual Designer to own the visual layer across documentation and brand materials. You will work with UX and engineering to elevate software interfaces and ensure consistency across platforms.

Visual Designer (MedTech & Product Design)

• Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico (Providencia area)
• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Payroll (6 to 12-month fixed-term contract)
• Compensation: $60,000 MXN gross per month + Premium Benefits Package

About the Project

We are a global, pioneering medical technology company revolutionizing reproductive medicine through precision robotics and cutting-edge clinical software platforms. With multidisciplinary teams spanning Mexico, the United States, the UK, and Spain, our engineering and software hub in Guadalajara builds robotic instruments and coordinated platforms that operate at the intersection of automation, biology, and user-centric design.

We are looking for a dedicated Visual Designer to join our product team. In this role, you will take ownership of the visual communication layer across our clinical documentation, user manuals, technical training collateral, and cross-platform brand expression, while partnering with UX and engineering teams to elevate our software interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation & Publication Design: Design, layout, and standardize user manuals, clinical training assets, and onboarding collateral, establishing typographic hierarchy and structured grid systems in collaboration with technical writers.
• Vector Illustration & Technical Graphics: Create accurate vector illustrations of laboratory hardware, robotic instruments, and biological workflows for interface integration, instruction manuals, and clinical materials.
• Iconography & Design Systems: Audit, standardize, and scale our core UI iconography library across platforms; actively contribute to token architecture, styles, and component systems within Figma.
• UI & Product Alignment: Partner with Senior UX Designers on visual execution for graphical user interface (GUI) features, maintaining visual harmony across web, desktop, and clinical applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across UX, hardware, software engineering, clinical, and marketing stakeholders to clearly articulate design rationale and maintain rigorous standards of craft.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in visual, graphic, or product design, with a strong focus on technical documentation and digital systems.
• Required Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating proven expertise in document/publication design (editorial layout, typography) as well as custom vector illustration and iconography.
• Figma Proficiency: Advanced fluency in component-based design systems, auto-layout, design tokens, and shared UI libraries.
• Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent vector software): High proficiency in precision vector creation and iconography design.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced to fluent/bilingual English (C1/C2), capable of articulating complex design decisions and collaborating with global teams.

• Nice to Have:
• Prior experience in MedTech, healthcare, biotechnology, scientific tools, or technical documentation.
• Basic-to-intermediate video editing skills (e.g., Premiere, After Effects).

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $60,000 MXN gross per month (100% direct payroll).
