Vision Care Sales Rep.

As a Sales Rep supporting the Vision Care team, you will:
- Support sales objectives by managing product categories and visit targets to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs).
- Assist in generating demand with clients (direct customers, optical shops, ophthalmologists) under your responsibility.
- Implement brand strategies at points of sale following Marketing and Key Account Managers' guidelines.
- Encourage recommendations of our brands by optical employees and pharmacies.
- Build strong commercial relationships with your accounts to increase brand recommendations, improve displays, and manage inventories effectively.
- Act as a business advisor to our accounts and professionals regarding product benefits, features, pricing, margins, and competitive advantages.
- Communicate competitor activities such as promotions, strategies, staffing, pricing, offers, and inventories.
- Participate in special events like fairs, conventions, and store openings.
- Deliver requested information promptly.
A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE INCLUDES:
- Increasing market share within your territory among accounts and professionals.
- Achieving sales targets based on the product portfolio and annual goals.
- Developing strong relationships with ophthalmology and contactology leaders and organizations like pharmacy chains and medical societies.
- Implementing strategic plans for healthcare professionals and accounts.
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Launching new products and maintaining an updated account database.
- Applying sales techniques and managing the business portfolio.
- Meeting visit targets and executing KPIs in the field.
- Managing resources and tools for strategy execution.
- Presenting results and strategic plans effectively.
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or related roles.
- Degree in administration, marketing, optometry, or related fields; or a degree in Economics/Business.
- Basic to intermediate English skills.
