Job summary

Grupo Bargo De Mexico seeks a seasoned Remote Mineral Processing Technician to deliver expert analysis, support, and optimization guidance from a remote location. You will monitor real-time plant data, diagnose issues, and implement strategies to improve recovery and throughput across sites, leveraging advanced software and simulations.

You will communicate effectively with operators and engineers, conduct virtual audits, and produce actionable reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in mineral processing operations (comminution, flotation, leaching, thickening).
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends with statistical methods and process simulation software.
• Proven ability to provide remote technical support and training.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing equipment, control systems, and process variables.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, MATLAB) and simulation tools (Metsim, JKSimFloat).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and autonomous work skills.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in analyzing large datasets and identifying trends using statistical methods and process simulation software.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective technical support and training remotely.
• Excellent understanding of mineral processing equipment, control systems, and process variables.
• High proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Python, MATLAB) and simulation tools (e.g., Metsim, JKSimFloat).
