Stellantis Mexico City is seeking an experienced automotive testing engineer to instrument and prepare vehicles and benches for testing and drive tests in accordance with procedures. You will manage vehicle behavior, ensure maintenance and calibration schedules, and coordinate with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvements in testing efficiency and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronic/Automotive Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English required.
• 5 years of driving experience (cars and trucks).
• Valid driving license for Mexico or international license.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Instrument and prepare vehicles/benchs for testing and driving tests according to procedures.
• Understand and manage vehicle behavior and how changes affect overall behavior.
• Ensure maintenance and calibration schedules for equipment are followed.
• Certify vehicle and paperwork are prepared to perform activities.
• Advise product engineer on changes related to vehicle components or performance.
• Report and follow up on problems found during testing.
• Prepare vehicles and set up electronic devices and connections between car and devices.
• Pursue continuous improvement for testing efficiency and document procedures.
