A global industrial company in Santiago de Querétaro is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage incoming inspections and supplier quality issues. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in quality fields within the automotive industry and is knowledgeable in Quality Systems such as IATF 16949. The role offers responsibility for coordinating corrective actions and participating in APQP activities.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in quality fields.
• Experience in the automotive industry is required.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for incoming inspection according to Vibracoustic standards and CSR’s.
• Actively supports production with component-related issues/investigations.
• Uses quality tools to improve process, product, plant, and component-related activities.
• Issues and manages supplier quality complaints.
• Coordinates development of corrective actions with internal and external suppliers.
• Delivers monthly reports on supplier complaints.
• Works with SDE for new supplier integration.
• Participates in APQP activities and follows up on open items from suppliers.
• Responsible for supplier APQP and PPAP review and approval.
• Manages the Supplier Management module in Livesource.
• Has the authority to stop processes and/or shipments in case of quality, safety, or logistical issues.
• Participates in the plant's overall VPS program and activities.
• Has the authority to send defective parts to suppliers for analysis.
• Performs other duties deemed necessary by the plant.

Actively participates in risk management.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineer or similar degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality fields.
• Experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (IATF 16949), PPAP (Customer and/or Supplier), PFD, PFMEA, PCP, LPAs, CORE TOOLS, Reverse FMEA.
