Are you passionate about shaping digital experiences through the power of words? At Foolproof, we’re looking for a talented UX Writer who thrives on crafting intuitive, inclusive, and user-centered content that helps people feel confident and empowered while using our mobile app and self-service web portal.

As a key member of our design team, you'll collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and developers to create seamless user journeys that are clear, concise, and full of personality—while staying on brand. If you’re a wordsmith with a strategic mindset, strong UX chops, and a love for simplifying complexity, we’d love to meet you.

To be considered you must be BASED in Mexico or Colombia and you must be able to provide CV and examples of work in English.

What You’ll Do

1. Craft clear, conversational, and on-brand copy for our app and web portal—from microcopy and error messages to onboarding flows and tooltips.
2. Translate complex functionality into simple language that guides, delights, and empowers users to take action with confidence.
3. Partner with product designers and managers to develop content that supports design and enhances the overall user experience.
4. Edit and proofread across digital touchpoints to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
5. Validate your work using data, user insights, and A/B testing to continuously improve content effectiveness.
6. Champion a cohesive voice and tone by applying our clients’ brand guidelines across all products and touchpoints.
7. Bring a user-first mindset to every project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with business and user goals.

What You Bring

1. 7–10 years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a related role—ideally in a fast-paced, agile environment.
2. A portfolio that showcases your UX writing across digital interfaces, demonstrating your ability to simplify complex interactions and guide users through thoughtful content.
3. Hands-on experience with Figma and an understanding of how content fits into design systems and product workflows.
4. A deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility best practices, and inclusive writing principles.
5. Strong instincts for storytelling, tone, and clarity—you're just as comfortable writing an error message as you are shaping an entire feature flow.
6. A knack for identifying content patterns and building scalable solutions while leaving room for creativity and innovation.
7. Proven experience using qualitative and quantitative research to inform and test content decisions.
8. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and build consensus across teams.
9. You’re self-motivated, detail-obsessed, organized, and flexible—able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt as things evolve.
