Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Especialista en Experiencia de Usuario (UX) for Educational Platforms in Tijuana. You will conduct user research, create wireframes, and develop interactive prototypes for web and mobile EdTech tools.

The role requires collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions that enhance learning experiences for students and educators. Ideal candidates have a strong UX foundation and portfolio of relevant EdTech projects, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 5 years of UX design experience for digital products, preferably EdTech.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Proficient with UX tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
Strong user-centered design knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand learner and educator needs.
Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile educational applications.
Collaborate closely with UI designers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user interface.
Work with product managers and engineers to translate user insights into actionable design specifications.
Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and usability testing results.
Stay current with the latest UX trends, best practices, and technologies in the EdTech space.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders effectively.
