Job summary

UN Secretariat's UN-Habitat Subregional Office in Mexico City invites interns to join the Project Implementation Coordination area. The role supports portfolio management, project follow-up, and development of essential tools and documents to improve urban development outcomes.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in graduate school or final year of undergraduate studies.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of data-related processes is desirable.
• Background in Urban Planning, International Development, Public Admin, or Project Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain the project portfolio management platform.
• Monitor milestones, outputs and timelines across the portfolio.
• Prepare project synthesis documents and support joint missions coordination.
• Assist in planning mission scopes, work agendas and follow-up documentation.
• Support coordination meetings and provide recommendations to optimize the area.
