At Web Shop Manager & PartsLogic, we rely on a dynamic team to tackle the challenges of our rapidly evolving technical stack. We are seeking an experienced UI/UX designer who is passionate about creating efficient and effective SaaS solutions in a forward-thinking organization that constantly pushes boundaries.

As a Sr. UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in defining and enhancing the user experience of our platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also user-centric, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

You will excel at designing and translating user-experience journeys into smooth and intuitive interactions. This position is not for graphic designers; we are specifically looking for a skilled and talented UI/UX professional to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design process from concept to completion, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
2. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
3. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions.
4. Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.
5. Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organization.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our designs innovative and competitive.

Required skills and qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a SaaS environment.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your ability to create user-centric designs.
4. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
5. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
6. Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user experience.
8. Detail-oriented with a passion for creating polished, high-quality designs.
9. Experience working in a startup environment.
10. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.
11. Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
