Digital screens such as Touch displays, Driver Information screens, and HUD (Head Up Displays) in our Ford/Lincoln vehicles are increasingly important for providing valuable information and enjoyable driving experiences. The growing need for safety and vehicle communication with the driver makes Human Machine Interaction (HMI) a key area for our company's competitiveness in the automotive industry. Continuous development of new content and Driver Assistance features challenges our team to incorporate innovative technologies and develop optimal interfaces and interactions.

As a UI Architect Designer, you will collaborate with a global, cross-functional team to discuss and define the best digital display graphics solutions for assigned projects. Your goal will be to meet customer expectations while ensuring simple, intuitive interactions within the vehicle, supporting implementation with suppliers and internal Ford teams.

Qualifications

What you'll need…

• Strong English skills (oral, reading, writing, listening)
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Automotive Systems Design, or Human Machine Interface. Experience as a UX/UI/Interaction Designer or related digital design background is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience working with a design team to develop creative visual and interactive solutions for consumer electronics, mobile devices, automotive, or related fields.
• More than 2 years of experience in Product Development, taking design concepts to production within development timelines.
• Knowledge of HMI Subsystems, UX, and UI principles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with tools such as Axure, Github, or Jira.
• Strong collaboration, proactivity, adaptability, problem-solving, communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and quick learning ability.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software.
• Experience with IDEs such as Android Studio, iOS, React, or QT.
• Experience in Usability Testing and Concept Validation is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience related to Driver Assistance, digital technologies, and Design Thinking.
