Responsibilities
The Opportunity
PepsiCo\'s Treasury team is responsible for:
- Capital market activities, including funding, investments, banking relationships, credit rating agency management, and shareholder returns at the corporate level.
- Supporting our global businesses on all Treasury aspects, including cash management, funding, and liquidity management.
- Managing and hedging PepsiCo\'s financial risks (e.g., FX, commodities, interest rate, etc.).
- Pension investment and liability management, funding, investments, banking relationships, credit rating agency management, and shareholder returns at the corporate level.
- PepsiCo\'s global insurance and risk management programs.
This position reports to the Treasury Associate Manager for the Middle Office, who oversees a team responsible for managing confirmations, settlements, and valuations of all PepsiCo derivative transactions. The Treasury Analyst also assists the Treasury Associate Manager with various areas including but not limited to the bullets below.
Your Impact
As Treasury Analyst, your responsibilities would consist of:
What will you be doing?
- Confirmations and settlements of commodity trades and foreign exchange.
- Confirmations and settlements of debt capital market activities including bond issuances, commercial paper, and interest rate & cross-currency swaps.
- Reconciles positions of commodity futures and investigates variances with brokers.
- Ensuring compliance with SOX, operating controls, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide back-up assistance to other Middle Office team members, such as settlement rates information and forward curve data, and updates to commodity settlement prices in the system.
- Support Middle Office team projects and drive process efficiencies.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required with preference for coursework in finance, actuarial sciences, economics or accounting.
Experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience in corporate treasury/finance, banking, or financial consulting.
- Advanced English proficiency (an interview will be conducted in English).
Differentiating Competencies Required
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Visio, Excel and Visual Basic is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with and appreciation for the requirements of a treasury environment (timeliness, accuracy, control requirements and strict adherence to policy and procedures).
