Kiewit Mexico is seeking a Transmission Engineer to design and review electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with project teams and clients. A Civil or related degree and 5+ years of transmission experience are required, along with proficiency in PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE/PLS-TOWER and English (B2).

The role involves site assessments, detailed report writing, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet project timelines.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience on power transmission projects.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Proficient with PLS-CADD or PLS-POLE or PLS-TOWER software.

As a Transmission Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical transmission and distribution systems, adhering to all safety and environmental policies, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Engage in the design and review of electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Engage in the design and review of transmission and distribution structures and foundations
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including project specifications and layouts. Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions that meet technical requirements and adhere to project timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and field inspections to evaluate design implementation and construction practices.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to facilitate project success.
• Ensure that all engineering work adheres to relevant industry codes and standards.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related field.
• +5 years of experience working on power transmission projects
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and PLS-CADD or PLS - POLE or PLS - TOWER software is a must
• English Proficiency B2
