Kiewit Mexico is seeking a Junior Transmission Engineer to join a team focused on designing and reviewing electrical transmission and distribution systems, while adhering to safety and environmental policies. The role provides access to state-of-the-art equipment to support project goals.

Recent graduates in Civil Engineering or related field with 0–1 year design experience, ability to read plans and specs, and basic knowledge of Office, AutoCAD, Civil3D will thrive. English B2 expected.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in the design and review of electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Engage in the design and review of transmission and distribution structures and foundations.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including project specifications and layouts.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions meeting technical requirements and timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and field inspections to evaluate design implementation and construction practices.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

As a Junior Transmission Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical transmission and distribution systems, adhering to all safety and environmental policies, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Engage in the design and review of electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Engage in the design and review of transmission and distribution structures and foundations
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including project specifications and layouts. Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions that meet technical requirements and adhere to project timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and field inspections to evaluate design implementation and construction practices.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to facilitate project success.
• Ensure that all engineering work adheres to relevant industry codes and standards.

• Recent Graduate in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0 -1 year of design experience
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite AutoCad, Civil3D, etc.
• English Proficiency B2
