WAYON ENERGY is seeking a capable transformer design engineer in Mexico. You will lead structural design and electromagnetic calculations for distribution transformers, considering windings, cores, insulation, oil tanks and components.

This role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure design feasibility and seamless production. Applicants should have a degree in electrical or mechanical design, 3+ years in transformer structural design, and familiarity with USA/Mexican

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or mechanical design.
• 3+ years of experience in structural design of distribution transformers (3-Phase Pad-Mounted Transformer/single phase PAD).
• Familiar with structural design principles, calculation methods, material selection, and USA and Mexican standards and safety requirements.
• Proficient in structural design software and able to independently complete transformer design, analysis and optimization.
• Good communication skills, strong learning ability and innovative mindset.
• English can be used as a working language.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the structural design and electromagnetic calculation of distribution oil immersed transformers, including windings, cores, insulation, oil tanks and components.
• Carry out preliminary and detailed design, calculation analysis, and optimization based on requirements to ensure feasibility and reliability.
• Select materials for transformers to ensure economical and practical design.
• Coordinate across departments to meet production process requirements and enable smooth industrial production.
• Participate in transformer testing, help solve test problems, and perform improvements and optimizations.
• Write design documents, technical reports, drawings, and related files to ensure design integrity and traceability.

Descripción del empleo

• 1. Responsible for the structural design and electromagnetic calculation of distribution oil immersed transformers, including the design and optimization of transformer windings, iron cores, insulation structures, oil tanks, and other components;
• 2. Based on user requirements and technical specifications, carry out preliminary design, detailed design, calculation analysis, and optimization of transformers to ensure the feasibility and reliability of the design;
• 3. Responsible for selecting materials for transformers to ensure their economic and practical design;
• 4. Responsible for cross departmental communication to ensure that the design meets production process requirements and smoothly achieves industrial production;
• 5. Participate in transformer testing and testing work, assist in solving problems that arise during testing, and carry out improvement and optimization design;
• 6. Responsible for writing design documents, technical reports, drawings, and other related technical files to ensure the integrity and traceability of the design process.

Qualification

• 1. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in electrical or mechanical design;
• 2. More than 3 years of experience in structural design of distribution transformers（3-Phase Pad-Mounted Transformer/singel phase PAD）;
• 3. Familiar with the structural design principles, calculation methods, material selection, and other aspects of distribution transformers, and knowledgeable about relevant USA and Mexican standards, industry specifications, and safety requirements;
• 4. Proficient in structural design software and related tools, able to independently complete transformer structural design, analysis, and optimization work, and possess the ability to solve complex problems;
• 5. Good communication skills, strong learning ability and innovative consciousness;
• 6. English can be used as a working language
