We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Transformation Project Manager.
Role Purpose:
The Transformation Project Manager plans, mobilizes, and directs projects of medium to high complexity and scale from definition to closure. They are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a single project or workstream within a larger project or program, proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes, and benefits. Projects are part of a BWOT (Banking Wide Operations Transformation) program. They help the operations business research, analyze, and implement projects that deliver benefits such as cost reductions and savings, aligned with the bank's strategy, applying Agile and SAFe methodologies. They work closely with Programme Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Global Heads to ensure project alignment with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values, and Behaviours.
Project Managers may support smaller changes by providing oversight and guidance to multiple initiatives within a priority market.
Main Activities:
Proactively monitor project execution to identify risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle. Take ownership of critical issues, ensure resolution within agreed timescales, and implement mitigating plans. Escalate when necessary to the Programme Manager, remaining calm and providing possible solutions.
Collaborate and build positive stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates to resolve high-priority issues affecting the project.
Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, ensuring commercially sound decisions are made to prioritize and optimize the change portfolio.
Obtain buy-in from the project sponsor, Steering Committee, and other stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes.
Analyze management reports to derive insights that drive informed business decisions.
Set the pace and operating rhythm, fostering a culture of achievement and removing barriers to success.
Promote pace and energy within the team, leading by example.
Maintain focus on medium- and long-term goals and the Group’s values, especially under short-term pressure.
Manage change and implementation to ensure successful adoption and benefits realization.
Oversee project closure and handover to the business or function.
Identify and recommend innovative solutions infused with emerging technologies, balanced with common sense.
