Job summary

BD Reynosa is seeking a Manufacturing Operations professional to help design, document, and optimize production processes for new product launches. You will collaborate with Industrial Engineers on process flows, layouts, and fixture design, while developing DMR materials and ensuring quality documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in engineering, with 2 years in manufacturing operations and a working knowledge of problem solving and CAD tools; English proficiency is required for

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical/electronic engineering.
  • Master's degree and Six Sigma desirable.
  • 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create product structures based on Sending Facility information.
  • Coordinate Process Flow Chart and cell layout with Industrial Engineer.
  • Prepare equipment and tooling lists and issue purchase requisitions.
  • Create and execute IQ/OQ protocols and reports; document laboratory notebook studies.
  • Support execution of special production orders for new product launches.
  • Assist in developing manufacturing processes.
  • Provide DMR documentation (BOMs, routings, procedures, drawings, tooling specs).
  • Participate in Device Master Record reviews and CRs; collaborate with Quality Engineering on transfer.
  • Support implementation of manufacturing procedures and train production staff.
  • Supervise technicians; provide guidance and feedback.
  • Design fixtures for new manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in budget activities and manage expenses under supervision.
  • Perform other tasks aligned with business priorities.

Job Description
  1. Create product structures based on Sending Facility information.

  2. Coordinate the Process Flow Chart and cell layout with the Industrial Engineer.

  3. Equipment and tooling list and place the purchase requisitions.

  4. Create and execute the IQ/OQ protocols and reports, perform and document laboratory notebook studies.

  5. Support in the execution and/or follow up of special production orders for new product launches.

  6. Support in the development of manufacturing processes.

  7. Provide support on creating the DMR documentation (BOMs, routings, manufacturing procedures, product drawings, tooling drawings, raw material specifications, etc.)

  8. Participate actively in the Device Master Record (DMR) reviews, CR’s reviews and collaborate in all activities with Quality Engineering related with the transfer.

  9. Support the implementation of manufacturing procedures and train the production trainers.

  10. Supervise technicians; provide guidance, support, and feedback.

  11. Design of fixtures for new manufacturing processes.

  12. Participate in budget activities and has controls over expenses with the areas under their supervision.

  13. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor, aligned with the priorities and strategic needs of the business.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, and electronic engineering. A master's degree, Six Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing certification are desirable. 2 years on Manufacturing Operations

Knowledge and Skills

Capable of using problem solving methodologies and statistical tools. SolidWorks or other CAD experience (preferred) Able to communicate both verbally and writing in English. Good communication skills. Have "hands on" ability to go into a machine and/or fixture to technically assess any issue and solve it or propose a viable solution. Dynamic, positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills, proficient, ability to work under pressure. Also, able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
