Copeland Guadalajara S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Traffic Assistant to coordinate import operations across all modalities and ensure compliance with supplier payments and tax rules. You will handle documentation, work with brokers, and maintain records for compliant, timely customs clearance.

You will support material control and documentation accuracy while collaborating with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize import workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in international business or related field.
• Knowledge of import processes and customs regulations.
• Experience with import documentation and payments.
• Strong Excel and general Office software skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and control import materials for customs in Ciudad Juarez, Altamira and Veracruz.
• Request documentation from the purchasing area.
• Verify documents meet tax requirements for import purposes.
• Collect and provide required documents to customs brokers for compliance.
• Review goods for import and assess duties before payment authorization.
• Obtain signatures for import declarations, invoices, health and NOM letters.
• Review and integrate supplier invoices related to imports.
• Process payment of invoices to customs and logistics service providers.
• Compile export and import cost sheets for filing.
• Maintain electronic import archive.
• Manage the import archive file and related records.

Traffic Assistant

Objetivo: Coordinación de Operaciones de Importación en todas sus modalidades. Ejecución de procesos administrativos para pago a proveedores y cumplimientos fiscales basados en las políticas y procedimientos de la compañía de acuerdo con leyes nacionales y de USA.

Educación: Licenciatura en Negocios Internacionales, Comercio Exterior o Carreras A Fines. Conocimientos Generales: Proceso y Despacho de Mercancías de Importación. Leyes y Reglamentos de Comercio Exterior. Logística Internacional. Trato con Agentes Aduanales. Trabajo bajo presión. Trabajo en equipo. Capacidad de Negociación. Conocimientos Técnicos: Manejo de Software Office. Sistema de Control de Inventarios ARANXEL. Sistema Pedimento Empresarial Operación Aduanera. Ley Aduanera Reglamentos y Leyes Relacionadas. Hoja de cálculo y manifestación de valor. Tratados comerciales y su aplicación. Idiomas: Inglés 80%.

Funciones Específicas

• Coordinar y Controlar de materiales de Importación de la Aduana de Ciudad Juarez, Altamira y Veracruz
• Solicitar documentación al área de compras.
• Revisar que los documentos cumplan con los requisitos fiscales para efectos de importación.
• Recabar y proporcionar a Agentes Aduanales la documentación requerida conforme a su naturaleza para cumplir con las regulaciones y restricciones arancelarias y no arancelarias.
• Realizar revisión de mercancías a importar y revisión de pedimentos antes de autorizar su pago.
• Recabar firmas necesarias para dar cumplimiento a las importaciones (declaraciones bajo protesta, certificación de facturas, cartas de salud, cartas NOM, SEDENA, SEMARNAT. Etc.)
• Revisión e Integración de facturas de proveedores relacionados a importaciones.
• Procesar el pago de las facturas de proveedores de servicios aduanales y logísticos (cuando apliquen) al área de cuentas por pagar.
• Integrar expedientes con los requerimientos fiscales y su hoja de costos para archivo (archivo físico).
• Controlar el archivo electrónico de Importaciones.
