Baker McKenzie International in Mexico City is seeking a Trademark Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to the Intellectual Property team, assisting with filing and prosecution of trademark applications before IMPI and portfolio management.

The role requires 3–5 years of trademark administration experience, fluency in English, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years of trademark administration/portfolio management experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Experience filing/prosecuting trademark matters before IMPI and maintaining portfolios.

Responsabilités

• Support preparation, filing and monitoring of trademark applications and proceedings before IMPI.
• Prepare and organize documents for trademark matters including powers of attorney and case files.
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, communications and registration status.
• Maintain trademark portfolio information and internal databases.
• Prepare trademark portfolio and status reports for clients and legal teams.
• Coordinate administrative requirements related to trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
• Provide administrative support for brand protection matters and customs-related alerts.
• Coordinate with lawyers, clients and external parties to complete trademark processes.
