Jabil is looking for a Compliance Analyst in Guadalajara, responsible for ensuring adherence to Mexican customs regulations and trade compliance. The role involves auditing procedures, optimizing customs benefits, and managing various compliance projects. Candidates should have a degree in international business, with a focus on customs and compliance, alongside relevant experience in the field.

Formación

  • 2-3 years of experience in compliance or related areas.
  • Preferred specialization in customs and logistics.

Job Description
  1. Audits internal processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with Mexican customs regulations.
  2. Ensures and audits the maquila software (24 & 30 Annex), import/export operations, IMMEX program, FTA forms, PROSEC, AEO, C-TPAT, Fixed assets, VAT certification, etc.
  3. Develops action plans with corrective measures, specifying who, what, and when issues will be resolved.
  4. Ensures correct application of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), qualification of goods' origin, and compliance with foreign trade regulations, restrictions, and obligations. Optimizes tax and customs benefits in import/export operations, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  5. Manages procedures through VUCEM, including automatic notices, PROSEC & Regla 8va requests, CIVA modification notices, among others.
  6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  7. Responds to government requests as required.
  8. Attends authority visits.
  9. Responds to regional trade compliance requests.
  10. Ensures adherence to internal department procedures.
  11. Participates in activities to improve internal controls and trade compliance requirements.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in international business, international trade, or related fields.
  2. 2-3 years of experience.
  3. Preferred diploma and/or specialization in customs, compliance, and logistics.
  4. Knowledge of customs law, RGCE, TIGIE, ANNEX 24 & 30.
  5. Experience with TLCs, IMMEX, CIVA, OEA.
  6. Proficiency in English (80%).
