Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MLevel Software Testing Engineer with expertise in test automation particularly using Tricentis Tosca. This role requires a well‑rounded QA professional who can build, maintain, and execute automated test cases across multiple projects and applications. In addition to automation scripting, the engineer will act as a technical administrator for a variety of testing tools. The ideal candidate has a proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca across multiple projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in test strategy, automation framework, and process optimization.
• Troubleshoot issues related to test automation execution and tool integrations.
• Coordinate test activities with development, DevOps, and product teams.
• Provide communications and reporting regarding testing goals and progress.
• Maintain documentation and test evidence within Confluence, SharePoint, and Tricentis Support Portal.
• Support service management and defect tracking processes via ServiceNow.
• Serve as an administrator and subject‑matter expert for various QA tools, including:
• Tosca (Test Automation)
• Tosca DEX (Distributed Execution)
• Tosca Vision AI
• qTest (Test Management)
• NeoLoad (Performance Testing)
• LiveCompare (Testing Impact Analysis)

• Showcase expertise in RestAssured, Tosca, and HP ALM for comprehensive testing solutions.
• Have a solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working with Scrum Masters.
• Display strong analytical skills to interpret test results and drive improvements.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years focused on test automation using Tricentis Tosca.

Experience with Tosca DEX, Tosca Admin, and Vision AI.

Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.

Proven experience with test tool administration and user management (e.g., qTest, ADO, JIRA).

Familiarity with API testing using tools such as Postman and validation as part of end‑to‑end QA efforts.

Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.

Experience working with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to exercise sound judgment on a broad range of scenarios related to testing.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Comfortable working in a remote/virtual desktop (VDI) environment.

Experience submitting and managing support cases through the Tricentis Support Portal.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

Certification in Tricentis Tosca (e.g., Automation Specialist) is a plus.

Working primarily in IST or CST business hours with the ability to overlap schedule for at least 3 hours with U.S. Central Time most days (through 11 am CT).

Collaborative and fast‑paced QA team environment; may involve occasional after‑hours support during major release cycles or tool upgrades.
