Cardinal Health is seeking a Production Operator in our facility in Tijuana to support cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement and quality assurance. You will operate light-duty machine tools and automation equipment, set up machines, and monitor outputs to ensure tasks meet tight tolerances.

The role requires 2-4 years of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.

What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
• May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
