Molex in Mexico invites an experienced Tooling Supervisor to lead the Tooling team, ensuring availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of tooling, fixtures, molds, devices, and related equipment. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while supporting operational excellence.

Formación

• Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising tooling maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for tooling, fixtures, molds, devices, and auxiliary production equipment.
• Experience with Health, Safety, Environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and restoring equipment following breakdowns.
• Proficiency working in 5S environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operations of the Tooling department to support manufacturing performance and objectives.
• Ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for tooling and equipment.
• Coordinate fabrication, repair, modification, and validation of tooling solutions.
• Manage department resources and establish priorities based on operational requirements.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Monitor KPIs and lead safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Promote TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices across the operation.
• Develop training plans and staffing coverage for technical personnel.
• Manage tooling budgets, inventory, spare parts, and supplier relationships.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
